     I can assure you that no two Ships could answer better my expectations - The Assistant is a fine little Vessel, and the Providence a Superior Ship of her Class to any I have known . -

     Perhaps you have not received any accounts of the Pandora Capt Edwards - He has not touched at this Place, and must therefore have got round Cape Horn as was reasonably to be expected. -

     Captain Blanket sailed from hence the first of October. -  No English Ships have been here since, except the Whale Fishers.  It is by one of these Ships I take the chance of sending this letter, but I fear it will be long before you get it - More direct conveyance is expected every day as a Dutch Packet is hourly expected.
