To Governer King you are to direct the Commander of the Lady Nelson

to Examine with diligence & to Survey & Plan with as much accuracy as circumstance will permit, all such Coasts & Shores & you shall order him to visit 
& also to Lay down upon his Chart all such Soundings as he shall think likely to prove usefull for the Guidance of those who may navigate these along these Shores in Future

To pay Especial Regard to the Examination & accurate delineation of all such Harbors as he shall discover & Judge to be Commodious for the Reception of Shipping and also of such Shoals & other dangers as he may from time to time meet with To Fix in all Cases when in his Power The True Positions+ of Remarkable head Lands Bays & harbors
