as possible the men quitting their Ships, otherwise in the course of a little time there may be the most atrocious acts of Buchauneering, & Piracy committed.  King sends a facsimile of a letter from Pomarree, [also spelt Pomare] very well written, requesting succour from him to quell his Rebellious subjects of Otaheite from whence it is evident the supremacies have made great progress in communicating knowledge to these People. 

          I regret to see the Winter so near upon us, as we shall unavoidably have the same from the Cape to Van Diemen's Land;  but by this delay I hope to have the pleasure of seeing you again before I sail, for it seems very improbable that my orders are yet thought of.  Mrs. Bligh desires me to present her kind Compliments to you we have been in distress at the loss of a fine Child of my eldest Daughters four Years old.
