A Proposal for withdrawing from Circulation, the old Copper Halfpenny Tokens, and for compensating the Holders of them, for the Loss they will sustain, by parting with them.
When the old Mint Tokens are so much reduced by wear, as no longer to shew the Impression originally stamped upon them, they cease to be received by the Public as genuine Money, and are sunk into the Mass of base Counterfeits, which disgrace the Copper Currency of this Country.
