Tuesday 21 September 1920

Roy and I go to River. We fish all over. Get one fish where I stand see 40 wild flowers Platypus, Turtle  wild cat. We watch them work at mine. We photograph falls. Mrs H & Mrs Mackie come down for music and singing. I see all sorts of birds.  

Wednesday 22 September 1920

We leave Spring Vale at 9am. I lunch at Kiaora & we talk. Go to Strathboyne. Roy and uncle Joe catch us there. We meet Parker-Hogans  .. good drive arrive [indecipherable] 2,30. Uncle C. comes in [indecipherable] find uncle Joe for a loan. Happy to reach Brigden music dancing & amusement until  tea time. I hunt wallaby & lose camera. We buy sweets
