Left the Cape went to Dusky bay [New Zealand] remaind there 3 weeks
in the night of departure from thence parted company with the Discovery

arrivd at Mataire Bay 4 days after the Discovery found Company.  Staid a month at Otaheite

Islands  [Hawaii]    Staid 10 days

 April 17
made the Coast of america

 Augst. 28
anchord at Noothka where the store ship the  Dedolus [Daedalus] had arrived before

Mr. Hergest [Capt. of Daedalus]  Mr. Gooch & one seaman had been cut off at  [Wahakoo?]

 Two years more will scarce compleat the
 business to be done on the Coast

Don Quadra Commandant of the Spaniard is [indecipherable]
on Plate  he this day departs for New Spain
Leaving a Frigate in charge of the Port
 Vessels of all nations are in the Port
