Upon looking again at the letter with which you lately favoured me, I find there is one part of it that requires an answer;  I must therefore trouble you again, to beg you would make my particular acknowledgements to the Council of the Royal Society for having honoured me with their attention in allotting me one of the medals that has been struck by them in commemoration
