June 12 1794

Receivd of Sir Jos: Banks the sum of sixty nine pounds 17/6. which with moneys he has before advanced to me is in Full of all pay & board wages & other matters due to me. for having accompanied Capt Bligh in His majesties ship Providence & having assisted at Kew in his majesties Garden Since my return and also twenty pounds which Sir Joseph has allowed me for collecting specimens during the voyage for his use.
