Dear Judge Ferguson –
Thank you very much indeed for the parcel you were so good as to send me for Xmas – the cigarettes and sweets were most acceptable.
We are at present in a small village called Chastres about 14 Kilos South of Charleroi – that is B Company are here – the remaining three companies are in Pry about two Kilos from here – we are very comfortable and had a very good Xmas – much different to the past three – the first of which was on Lemnos Island – the next at Fleurs and the last one in the line near Armentieres.
I knew your son very well – although
