To receive on board James Smith Gardiner, he is superintendant of Convicts, with the Plants Trees & 
Shrubs. they are for the use of the Colony, under his Care to order them to be stowed in the Coach erected on the Guardians Quarter deck for the purpose of receiving them & to Birth him in the Coach likewise that he may be ready to open & shut the windows &c in changes of weather.

To order him  such reasonable assistance as he shall from time to time have occasion for in to require for the
Custody & Preservation of them & to see be mindful that no opportunity of Catching Rain water is omitted in order that their allowance of water may be incresed made as liberal as possible in the hot climates they will have much occasion of it.

To station someone of the Ship's Company who may seem to you best suited for the purpose to attend assist as
often as when his necessary duty will admit & assist in the various business necessary
