Buy me a beer, I heard him bleat.  Leave me a gift, a gift. 
Dodging the Copper on his beat.  A bob or I do not shift 
Once he was such a man as you,
with collars & socks to spare, But tis November & chilly too. 
Pity poor devil may care:  Devil may care who shall us - Lets? 
When a pub he has to pass.  Devil may care who to pay forgets,
for Devil may care drinks fast.
