He held his hand a certain distance from the ground intimating by its heigth the age of the boy, which I conjectured might be between seven and ten years. He next took a piece of shell, which is their instrument, and having given it a point, took hold of the point of his penis, inserting, seemingly, his instrument between the glans and central part of the prepuce, carrying it up longitudinally behind the glans; he then proceeded to dissect each portion off to the franum, except which, [then] leave not the smallest rudiments of the prepuce, nor the least perceptible cicatrix, with such a nicety do they perform the operation.
