1. This must mean Dalrymple's Collection of Voyages in The South Sea - a single quarto published more than 30 years ago. I think it has nothing to do with New Holland.
2. The 2d. & 3d Voyages of Cook only mention Adventure Bay in Dieman's Land.
3. Porpoise touched at Botany Bay - I am no judge whether the rest of this Book contains matter, necessary land present Purpose; but certainly suppose not.
4. I think that Vancouvers original matter respecting the SW Coast of N. Holland, [indecipherable] very useful.
5. Bligh's Voyage in The Bounty has a matter relating to V. Dieman's Land, and to Cook's Strait.
6. Dal's Memt. if I understand what is meant relate to subject very remote from N. Holland. But the Treatise on Marine Surveying (& is bound up in it) & is, I believe, no where else.
