Sunday memo Feb 9 - 00

Sir Jos: Banks conceives himself to be owner of the soil of the whole of the West Fen by demise from the Crown, in whom the Freehold is vested, Sir Jos has also a Right of Common on the Whole West Fen appurtenant to his Freehold Lands in the Parish of Revesby, he has also as Lessee under the Crown a vested Right in all the  Surplusage of Pasture upon the Common after the Tenants Homagers of the Court have enough, for their Common arable stock, & has exercised the Right of agisting or Licensing the stock of fen Commoners to depasture thereon - how much of all these matters ought to be averted must be decided by the special Pleader Employed
