As however the County has but one office of General Goal delivery the 3 divisions must are obligd to contribute to the building & Repairs of the County Goal to the maintenance of Prisoners etc etc & this they do in Proportions fixed in the Reign of Queen Elizabeth, Lindsey paying the half of all repairs general charges to Neven 7/15 & Hillard 8/15 for the purpose of auditing these general accounts a session has been annualy held at the castle of Lincoln for some years at which the 3 clerks of the Peace attend & having been informed by the magistrate of the amount of the claims allowd by them they reperesent Report the same to their respective Quarter Sessions who order the Payment to be made in the usual proportions.
