In answer to your letter of yesterday I send you the exact dimensions of the Box measured from out to out 3 feet 2 inches long 2 feet 1 inch high & 1 foot 8 inches & ½ broad. the box contains in the middle three plants of equal distances & on each side 4 cuttings which were put in with the rooted plants in the Spring & which are now all growing & have made good roots.
whenever you will inform me of the Ships arrival at Long Beach or Gravesend I will take care that the Box shall be sent to either place & which I can do with equal convenience as the distance from my house to Gravesend & Greenhithe is nearly equal.
as it will give me particular pleasure to be of any use in this business to yourself or the Colony I beg you to present my compts to Sr Josh Banks
