Sir,

I have sent to Mr Berridge the plants as are [inserted?] on the other side, they are packed with much care in 3 large matted Basket & were delivered to the Boston Waggon Saturday Evening & they are such as you approve I am made happy, & you think there is not as many as you would wish me to send pray let me have your commands to send more as at all times I shall consider it an extreme pleasure with my duty to execute as far as I am able the most full extent of your wishes -

Sir George Staunton has sent his plants cargo of plants to Kew but they have arrived in very bad order I am very sorry I have to say so, the following are those that appear alive - Murraya exotica - Limodorum tankervilleae Epidendrum ensafolium a plant like Ulmas pumila, I suppose it to be the same plant as the dwarf China plant at Spring Grove [indecipherable] the Wax Tree & two very consumptive peony Trees - Calycanthus [indecipherable] a species of [indecipherable] which Sir Geo calls Magnolea - Chrysanthemum indicum two half dead plants I dont know any thing of & an expiring White Camellia the other plants are compleatly dead & the seeds Sir George has also sent to Kew. they are numerous & I dare say will prove very valuable - Captain Wilsons plants I have also received they are very few this Season
