Mrs Gough has got a son & wish it may thrive to be a comfort to her poor woman, for she wants comfort much on account of almost constant bad health, both her sisters are well, Mrs Wilkinson paid us a visit of a couple of weeks since her arrival & enjoys the country she says. She is now nursing her sister & the little stranger

Since my return to India I have more than usually attentive to make my descriptions & drawings correct, & therefore hope the work establishing them , will go on faster, as I do not think the former will require much alteration. I have made out an enlarged & corrected copy of all my old descriptions which I will send home under the care of Mrs Colebrooke
