There are but few seeds to be had at this season, what I have been able to collect, are sent & hope them and the specimens will arrive in good condition.
By my next Letter I hope to be able to give you a further account of our Discoveries, particularly that of the River to the Westward, an account of which as far as we yet know is annexed to my Journal. If any small Craft come here during the Summer it is my intention to go round in her with a Boat and examine it myself, and my observations in this as well as every other occurrence while I am here, shall be regularly communicated
Should Commodore Baudin's Voyage be published I should like much to have it sent out, and a magnifying Glass which I am much in want of.
I am making a Collection of all the wood of this Country, as soon as it is tolerably complete
