Port Jackson 23.d May 1793

Dr Sir

          As Lt. Woodriff has promised me to deliver you the small parcel viz a phial with a small plant in spirits & a box with some of the destructive fly of Norfolk Island (mentioned in my letter of this date,) I have taken the liberty of sending this by him meerly as an introduction, he has been longer in this part of the Colony than I have been & may probably be able to give you some information.
