Captain McArthur is now under arrest by Governor King; for the reasons he explains to you in his letter by Lt Grant. He (Capt McA) goes in a vessel called the Hunter by the way of India so that it will be along time before we know what nature will be taken of the Governors charges against him, whatever the result is I hope it will be the means of regulating cases of this nature in future and present the necessity of referring them to such a distance.
