I had Sir a letter from Mr. Lloyd last week where in he gives me an acct. [account] of a vein of lead ore in that neighbourhood which produces 150 tons pr. week and which I am particularly glad to hear as he receives a 1/3rd share of the duties.

I shall try to increase the Emolument of the young man who offers himself as a miner for the voyage of discovery since you give him a good character his Passage to the Ship shall be Paid & I will not send for him till his Salary has Commenced I conclude he will be wanted in about a fortnight from this time.
