Dear Sir

The only breadfruits that we are sure of with respect to the name given it by the natives, is Myre - they varied very much in naming the rest.  Wiles is mistaken in his oomarree instead of kumaree and cannot find any name like Pia.  The fruit, of which we know for certain their names, of which we have, are - Pa,terre - Er,rorro - My,re - Ai,rad, dee -Ma,uwree - Awan, nah - Pow,erro - Poo,poore - O,ree - Ap,peeree - O,terre - Ooma, rree.  They all agreed we had these sorts.

I am extremely happy to hear you are recovered and should have waited on you this morning but from Mrs Bligh being unexpectedly brought to bed and lying extremely ill and unhappily a young infant dead.

I am Dear Sir
Your faithful and affectionate Hmble Servant
Wm Bligh

Sir Joseph Banks Bart
