My Dear Sir
I was sitting at Breakfast with Mrs Dryander when I had the happyness to receive your letter. I arrived last night with the ships at Gallions [Gallions Point] where they must remain untill the Guns & Powder is taken out, they will then instantly proceed to their moorings at Deptford - I think this will not be the case until Tuesday evening because of the uncertainty of the Craft being ordered by the ordnance Board - perhaps it may be Wednesday before we can get to Deptford. I have however done every that rests with me so far as to insure their being up on Tuesday. Not a Plant shall be touched till I have the pleasure to attend you to the Ship which shall be the day you please to appoint. I am extremely happy to find you, Lady Banks & Family are well. It will ever be the sincere wish of my Dear Sir.
Your very affectionate
Hmble Servant
Wm Bligh
My Little Flock are anxious to see me & I must go to the Admiralty otherwise I should wait on you to day.
