My dear Sir

I send you L: Col. Johnston defence & the first & second day's proceedings of his Evidence - and I beg you will do me the favor to give me your opinion whether it is right & proper for me to publish, as I can set about it immediately that no time may be lost.  I sent some copies of the sentence to my Lord Sl Vincent who in acknowledging the receipt of them says "as the minutes are referred to is it not of importance, if possible, that they should be made public?"  In all - to out Posts Friends & Adls. in commission I have distributed
