My Dear Sir

We sailed from Yarmouth the 11th. and yesterday afternoon made a dash at the Fishing Boats, but from their being much divided, we could only lay hold of twenty of them from 11 In the morning to sun set.  They are now to go in under convoy of the Echo. This morning a ship from the Mauritius is detained, & I hope will be a prize.  Our Squadron is the larger, Veteran, Lancaster 4 Appollo, Echo and Cutter.  I have only a moment to give you this scrap of information.  We shall proceed to scour the Coast.

I am dear Sir
Your Very Faithfull
Hmble Servant
