Durham Place Lambeth

November 10th 1805

My Dear Sir

The News of the late Victory, and my poor Friend Lord Nelson's death, caused a great omission in my last letter to you in not noticing the part which recommends James Thompson, together with Lady Petre's Letter to you in favor [favour] of that Person.  I regret it extremely as it delays my assuring you I shall take the earliest opportunity of being of use to him, and complying with your request which will ever have fresh weight.

My Dear Sir
With your faithful
humble Servant

Wm Bligh
