The above are the lists of what appears to me requisite to be taken on our voyage. You will probably see some things superabundant, and many useful things left out. I thought to have kept it till my arrival in town, that I might have had the advantage of your advice upon various things; but as that time will probably be yet prolonged, and orders from the admiralty are come down to hasten the outfit and go to the Store, the time requisite to prepare them, makes it necessary to forward it immediately.
