who survived the operation 21 months after conception, supposed extra uterine, in the same vol: of the same work immediately after, is an account of a foetus voided by the Anus after 22 years pregnancy by a Dr. Percival, in a continuation of the same commentaries by Dr. Duncan Vol 8, p 329, a Dr. Fitzgerald relates an account of one delivered the same way, after 18 months pregnancy;  I need not say they were all long dead & don't think any imagine the Rye-woman can have a living foetus in her these 3 years as she imagines & thinks at times she feels the motion of, this seeming motion, as an ingenious friend of mine imagines, may be occasioned by any sudden change of posture, particularly on supposing the substance enclosed in a quantity of fluid, or the involuntary action of the abdominal viscera may perhaps produce such a sensation.
