My Dear Sir:

In consequence of the opinion you have expressed of Capt. Blighs Merit & Ability & is the character which He bears, for firmness & Integrity I propose to recommend that Officer to his Majesty to be Governor of New South Wales: Mr. Pitt has comented to place the Salary of that Government at £2000 per Annum
