Sir

Having laid before my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty your Letter of the 19th Instant, together with the Picture alluded to of part of an Island in the Gulph of Cerpentaria [Carpentaria] intended as an Ornament to the Account of Captain Flinders's Voyage; I am commanded to acquaint you that their Lordships have given an Order to the Navy Board for payment of the sum of Forty Guineas which you state to be the Price agreed for the Picture in question.
