The Limodorum Tankervilia, and the Chinanthus mutality arrived quite safe, with the Packet of Seeds from Botany Bay you so kindly sent to the Oxford Garden. I heartily wish it could offer any thing worth your Acceptance. please to accept my best thanks.
I have sent a plant of the Verbena triphylla which I hope Lady Banks will find Room for in her Green House. It is a Plant of some years growth, which I lately very accidentally procured, & since, I sent the young Plant of it to Kew, at that time, the best I had & the first cutting sent out of the garden it is a deciduous Plant & the Leaves I recollect were scarcely come out when I forwarded it to Kew.
I have been confined from walking fast by a stubborn Quotidean Fever of which I have had eighteen Paroxysms that
