Dear Sir
 
The Landgrave of Furstenburg (sent by the Emperor to this court to notify his Election) being desirous to see the Royal Society, and still more so to be known to it's worthy President, proposes doing himself the honors of paying you a visit some morning in the course of the ensuing week; Knowing how kindly you are disposed towards foreigners I ventured to say to His Serene Highness, that you would be equally anxious to make his acquaintance;  He proposes to quit London within fourteen
