Dear Sir
I hope you will excuse my troubling you one more on the subject of my drawings, as what I have to say, may perhaps prove acceptable to You. I very readily agree to Your kind offer of four hundred Guineas for my collection of drawings and I am very well content that the payment may take place whenever it will suit You best. But I beg leave to represent, that it will be extremely convenient to me, as well as insure the possession of my drawings to You, if You will favour me so much as to take them into Your hands at present; and give me a promissory Note in return, payable at such a time next winter as Yourself shall think fittest. By so doing, You will confer another Obligation on
