his drawings will often want correction - I am now about the grasses.
The great difficulty lies in decyphering Sibthorp's journals & lists, & in knowing what plants he means - for he often calls the same plant by 2 or 3 diff.t names in diff.t lists, without any reference to each - & the Linnaean names are wonderfully erroneous.
I can easily prepare my part of the great Flora, but how I am to get forward with the Prodromus in the time wished I know not. We must at least published half of it, or less, at first.
