Had I known that the Lady Barlow would not have left here before the present I would have sent you the plants I collected in the journey to Mount Banks - Since I wrote the others I have caught a Porcupine anteater, - but it proved to be a male - the organs of generation I have preserved in spirits - Should you have not seen a male one I give you the following information
The penis is about ¾ - an of an inch in length - and terminates in 4 blunt points, in resemblance to a man's fingers cut off below the lowermost joints - these blunt points have a great number of very minute pores from whence ooze a thick semen much like the cream
