Dear Sir

I am happy in the opportunity of informing you that the dispute between Captain Vancouver and Mr. Menzies has been amicably adjusted - I have however written an Official Letter to the former to permit him to come on shore with the Plants, and have also made the requisite applications to the Treasury and Customs to permit them to be landed.
