Dear Sir Joseph

As some accounts have at last been received from N.S. Wales which may not have reached you, it may perhaps be interesting for you to know what I have heard. On Tuesday morng. Mr. Wilson the owner of the Ship Rose called here and informed me that he had received a letter by the Camel Store Ship from Captn. Bracks Master of the Rose, from which he allowed me to make the following extract - "I have the pleasure at last after a very tedious passage, to inform you of my arrival here (Cape of Good Hope) the 13th January, we sailed from the Derwent 6th October 1808." - Captn.
