Dear Sir Joseph

We are still in anxious expectation of the arrival of the Rose with the India fleet, which it is thought will not happen till the beginning of May as they were so much damaged that it would take them some time to refit.  I am happy to hear that there is an immediate order for the Sailing of the 73rd Regt. for N. S. Wales, & am preparing our letters &c to go by Capt Pasco of the Hindostan who has the command of the Ships.  I am very anxious at present to send Bligh a supply of Cloaths & Stores for his House &c, and yet feel it difficult how to proceed.
