The Basket of Pine plants & suckers shall be forwarded to HRH the Princess Dowager of Orange to morrow. HRH. is already informed of the melancholy event alluded to in your Note. In her last Letter dated the 6th Inst. she expresses herself on the subject in the following words which I transcribe. La mort de Miss Banks me fait beaucoup de peine pour son frère, car je fais combien il lui etait attaché & qu'elle etait de grande ressource dans la Maison & Surtout pour Lady Banks; vous voudrés bien leur dire
