This partiality alarmed J--K and upon inquiry found out that Coleman made her frequent visits, by way of instructing her in the art of acting. Still it was not known that J-K was the man, that kept her, as his name in her house was Brown. It is imagined that Coleman not suspecting J-K to be her Lover, has in conversation not spoke properly of Miss Miller.
