Mr. F that introducing the useful plants of the Moluccas (particularly the Sago tree) would be of the utmost importance as an article of Subsistence to the inhabitants of the British West India Islands.
Should this take place it is more than probable that I will be the person who will have the charge.
This would be a good opportunity of taking home a great number of new plants to Kew, and of bringing to the East Indies, the fruits of the west. -
