I had the pleasure of sending you a few Seeds by Lieut. Shortland in the Alexander Transport, & was in hopes of sending a larger quantity as likewise a greater variety of plants, but the Man I employed for three Months to collect Seeds, sold them to the people belonging to the Transport & which I did not know
