Dear Sir

By Lieut. Shortland Agent for the Transport I send Six Boxes of Seeds & plants. a Box with a Kangurroo, & a small bag of Gum. I should have said five boxes of Seeds & plants, as one very small box contains Gum only. The enclosed feathers are new to me, they are from the Bird of the Ostrich kind, sent to Lord Sydney in Spirits.
