Sir Joseph

As I have not yet heard anything of the supply of Glass (50 panes)  which I applied to you for, when last in Town, you will not be surprised at my anxiety to be in possession of it before we leave this place, otherwise the Botanic Conservatory on the Discoverys quarter deck, may be rendered useless before half the Voyage is performed.

Yesterday I saw Mr. Harris - offered him the use of my Cabbin & desired he would command me whenever he thought my assistance might be of any service to him during the course of our long Voyage.

I have the honor to be due respect

Sir Your most obedt
