Mr. Lee had the pleasure to leave a note at Sir Joseph Bankses a few days since, to say that He was upon the eve of his Departure for the United States & to offer his best services to Sir Joseph.  He leaves Town tomorrow & will sail from Liverpool about the 15th. Inst.  Any letters sent to the care of the American Consul at Liverpool will receive every attention.  Sir Joseph was so good as to allow Mr Lee to introduce to his acquaintance his relation & young friends Mr. Clifford Esq. Son to Lord Clifford of Portman Square on the Eve of his travels.  Mr. C. sails in the August Packet to Lisbon - will see Portugal & something of Spain.  He will then go into Greece - Sicily - Malta, thro many parts of the Mediteranean [Mediterranean] as may be accessible to him.
