Colonel Beatson presents his compliments to Sir Joseph Banks and begs leave to inform him that he has forwarded by the present fleet a printed copy of a letter he has addressed to the Court of Directors, containing a good deal of information regarding the Plans of improvement carrying on here; & which he thinks will prove acceptable to Sir Joseph.
Colonel Beatson requests Sir Joseph Banks, acceptance of the enclosed St Helena Register - in which are further remarks on Barley Wheat
