I hope, I could with applycation make Some little progress, which thought Sir! Springs from no other motive than to try all means to render myself usefull !  I hope Sir!  you will not think me too intruding in this often addressing you, as Should I be so very miserable as to be left behind a Stranger in this Country without a friend to assist me, or any means to prevent me again falling into the same helpless distress, from which your benevolence so lately extricated me, I should have nothing but the utmost misery and want to expect, and as to retourning to Holland where I have lived in a decent and respectable manner, in my present dejected State, the Very thought is worse than Death.
