Hond Sir

As I am advancing in years, & have given my Son's some education in hopes the one or other may succede me, & as my eldest is in good Bread. Since my youngest seemed fondest of Botany & gave satisfaction to our Botanicall Gentlemen by furnishing them with Specimens & the like, but at the same time Contracted an acquaintence I could wish him broke of, on that account wish him for some time at a distance & prompted by the professor, & other Gentlemen, that as he might be of use to you & Dr Solander, the Professor wrote to you that I should be infinitely obliged to you, to take him with you  in any Capacity yr.self, & Captain, might find him most proper for, but by receiving a letter from you wherein you make no mention; He concludes it may have miscarried, that [missing word] you this further trouble. we all here pray for a succesfull [missing word] & happy return from your most Dutifull humble [missing word]
