Note:- All Most of the 5th Brigade spoke of the Prussian Guards who opposed them at Mont St Quentin spoke of the enemy as the "Alexander Guards". Beyond the general statement, I could get no evidence proving them to be the "Alexander Guards". See reference to "Alexander Guards" on opposite page.
